The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon and sightings can not be guaranteed. Many factors may prevent viewing including other weather conditions. We do our best to identify the best routes with the highest chances and are successful often, but at times, we strike out. Sightings are never guaranteed and if Northern Lights do not appear, no refunds will be issued. However, Stampede Excursions will allow guests that are on an unsuccessful tour to be placed on a standby list for the next offered tour at no additional charge. Guests on the standby list will be confirmed, in an order determined by Stampede Excursions, 30 minutes prior to the tour departure time.
